As seen in many markets, especially in LatAm, local Peruvian brands and their cultural knowledge are facing competition from international operators that often bring bigger scale in terms of technology and capital.

For Ramiro Atucha, founder and CEO of Atucha Strategic Advisory, whether international operators can press home their scalable advantages will depend on how seriously they take localisation.

“When we talk about localisation, we’re not talking about the language or doing a game about Machu Picchu,” he tells iGB. “We’re talking about taking the effort to understand what the history of those players is, what they’re used to.

The company only began sales towards the end of 2025, but Yashin says it has subsequently signed around 30 to 40 contracts. Partners include BGaming, SoftSwiss, 1xBet, 01.tech, and Broadway.

Despite his experience launching businesses, Yashin has been surprised by the enthusiastic reception from the wider industry. Perhaps even more revealing is the feedback from the people tasked with selling the product. According to Yashin, one Swipe Games business development manager with more than 20 years’ industry experience told him he had never found a new product easier to pitch.

The response extends to potential customers. Yashin says that of around 50 leads generated through events and the company’s network, only one decided against integration, leaving Swipe Games prioritising a queue of prospective partners.

One such event occurred in April 2026 when a particularly lucky guest claimed the Grand Jackpot prize of $1,159,768.43 after placing an initial wager of $25 at the off-Strip casino resort.

The casino has continued to introduce several worthwhile expansions aimed at its gaming facilities, including the Fortune Coin Bonus Room featuring three available must-hit jackpots (Mini, Major, and Grand). 

The jackpots have been designed to drop before accumulating $500, $5,000, and $10,000, respectively.
